• faux corbeaux (x3)
• mini squelette et crâne
• pistolet à colle chaude
• divers vases et fleurs séchées, branches et brindilles
• x3 petites citrouilles en céramique ou vraies
• vieux livres
• étamine noire et blanche (x3 pièces au total)
• Pâte bleue
• chandeliers et bougies
Étape 1.
Take the base of your glass dome, or a plate if you are using a glass kitchen bowl, and cover it with a black plastic bag cut down to size, leaving the edges jagged. Place your skeleton prop in the centre of the base. Take your first faux crow and stick a piece of Blue Tack on each claw. Press it down onto the skull firmly and position the bird in an animated pose. Then add the last two crows around the base of the skeleton.
Étape 2.
Use moss to create a realistic soft nest for the crows. The kids will love bringing in anything that from the garden! Cover the Blue Tack with moss and scatter it across the black plastic. Then place your glass dome or glass kitchen bowl over the skeleton and birds to finish the set up. For the second dome, make a snake terrarium using foraged twigs and pine cones. Start by making a 2D frame using the twigs and the glue gun. Then place your frame onto the dome base. Add more twigs checking the twig frame fits inside the base and glass dome.
Étape 3.
Once you are happy with the density of the twig frame, place it on your dome base or plate. You can leave the glue visible for a slimy, creepy look. Drape the toy snake around the twig frame making it look as realistic as possible. Place and secure the foraged pine cones with the glue gun. Finally add your glass dome or glass kitchen bowl to finish off.
Étape 4.
For the third glass dome, create a spider mountain using your collected pebbles. Began by piling the pebbles on top of each other and used the hot glue gun to hold them all in place. Once the pebble mountain is made, add dry moss into the cracks and crevices for a natural look. Add toy spiders to the mountain and glue into place before placing the glass dome over the top.

Étape 5.
To create the back drop for the Halloween domes, hang the pre-cut black and white cheese cloth to the wall at a medium height. Press a gathered piece of the cheese cloth into the Blue Tack to hold it in place. Drape the cheese cloth at random heights across the wall to create a spiderweb look.
Étape 6.
Add a black piece of cheese cloth in front of the white cloth hanging it higher than the white layer. Then a third piece of black cloth to hang under the white layer, running along the bottom of the wall. The aim is to create texture and layers to the wall so that the wall appears three dimensional.
Étape 7.
Now it’s time for styling! Position the glass domes first and then add some old books. Books are great for stacking to create plinths for other props to sit on. Playing with height makes your set up interesting and dynamic. Add candle sticks and vases making sure everything is scattered across the sideboard in an asymmetric composition. Old plant pots and charity shop vases in black continue the dark Halloween theme. Fill the vases with dried flowers and foraged twigs and branches. To add an extra scary dimension to the twigs and branches, decorate with black plastic bats with sticky back pads.
Étape 8.
Finally, cut up some white cheese cloth into three pieces and drape over the back half of the glass domes as if a spider web has formed around it. The cheese cloth also helps define the contents of the dome with its contrasting colour. Place a skull on a stack of books and a smaller vase in front to create variation in height across the sideboard. Add mini ceramic pumpkins or real ones if you prefer.
