"This has been years in the making and for us as a Chateau team, we are truly proud to finally be offering our Strawbridge Family, hand-painted Chateau Snow Globe.
A Christmas tale...We started development late in the year of 2019 and after months of playing with the finer detail inside the globe, in mid-2020 we were told that the factory would not be able to make them in time for Christmas because of the many issues companies faced in 2020. Whilst disappointed, we understood and restarted in 2021, but once we got the sample, the detail was not right! So we went into perfecting mode and, my fault completely, we ran out of time! 2022 our focus was the Christmas party and finale of Escape to the Chateau...and now 2023 is finally the year! We all had time to give our Chateau Snow Globe the love it deserves and we knew we got it right when Arthur & Dorothy squealed!
The first detail to point out is that they are very heavy, the thick glass is the perfect magnifier that creates the magical Chateau Christmas Scene and when turned upside down you can’t help but think “it’s beginning to feel a bit like Christmas”. The detail has been incredibly important to us, we see this as an heirloom that will be handed down from generation to generation, so it had to be right! The windows needed to have the correct amount of panes, the stairs and balustrade needed to be an exact replica, the bricks framing the central reservation to be accurate and the Baglioni crest needed to be as detailed as we could possibly get it. This level of detail has been given with love to all four sides, and the chimneys on the back even have the Baglioni logo. It’s perfect! Our family, including Petale, have been carefully crafted as snow people and considering we are tiny, they look like us! We feel truly honoured and delighted with the result!"
