Every spring, the wisteria surrounding the Orangerie puts on the most magnificent show. Its cascading flowers have become such a familiar and much-loved part of Chateau life that it was only a matter of time before they found their way into one of my designs.

The Story

The Orangerie is an incredibly special place for us, and the wisteria that welcomes you there is simply magical.

For much of the year it quietly winds its way around the building, and then suddenly it bursts into life with the most beautiful cascades of flowers. It's one of those moments in the Chateau calendar that I look forward to every year.

"I wanted this design to capture that feeling – abundant, romantic and a little bit wild. Nature doesn't arrange itself perfectly, and that's exactly what makes it beautiful. Bringing the wisteria indoors means enjoying a little piece of the Chateau garden whatever the season."

The Detail

The Wisteria of the Orangerie is available in three colourways: Blue, Rose and Taupe.

Designed by Angel Strawbridge at the Chateau and created exclusively with Terrys.

Fabric composition 100% Cotton
Fabric width 140cm
Pattern repeat 46cm
Care instructions: Wash at 30°. Can be dry cleaned. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron. Dry clean for made to measure products.
Suitable uses: Curtains, Blinds, Scatter Cushions

Please note that our fabric is sold in 1 metre lengths and is non-returnable as once it's been cut to size cannot be resold.
