Cooking the first asparagus, harvesting our leeks and Bomas!

As you may have seen in last week's video, our asparagus finally started coming to the surface... 3 years after planting! I (Dick) thought I'd get the children in the kitchen to use our homegrown produce to make a lovely asparagus breakfast for Angela's birthday. In case you missed it, here's what you'll need for the Strawbridge hollandaise sauce (per portion): 

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 50g butter
