We’ve spent an incredible nine years turning Chateau de la Motte Husson into our home and business. It’s been quite a journey and we’ve been delighted to share it all with you on our Channel 4 series 'Escape to The Chateau'. It certainly seems like a lifetime ago that we picked up the keys to our very own French chateau and we pinch ourselves everyday, even on the days when we argue and have to clear up the flies we still smile.

We feel very blessed that The Chateau is now teeming with life and activity, not only courtesy of our children Arthur and Dorothy, who simply love exploring their very own ‘castle’, but with guests who have been on the journey with us: those who have been inspired to ‘have a go’, and those who have simply enjoyed the fantasy from the safety of their armchairs!

We really have been overwhelmed by lovely e-mails and enquiries about visits and stays at The Chateau. We continue to offer elegant vintage weddings and special events and we promise to keep updating our offerings with fresh and innovative ideas. We do love to entertain, but The Chateau is also our home, so other than formal events days, it is closed to the public.
