Anya loves to collect old doilies, vintage linens and tea sets “Most of these items have been handmade by somebody in the past, treasured and lovingly stored all these years. I love displaying and using them whilst imagining the stories these items could tell.”

“I adore everything vintage. I dress in original vintage or vintage style clothing every day and also love surrounding myself with old treasures. Things with a bit of history and stories to tell…I have been gathering vintage items from charity shops for years and have also rescued a few items which people were going to send to landfill.”

The Chesterfield sofa was given to Anya by a lady downsizing her home who also gifted the large mirror, stool and storage chest once Anya had told her about the project. "The only things I purchased new were Angel’s gorgeous wildflower wallpaper and cushion, because what better place to display them, than in a summer house.”
