A self-confessed “amateur upcycler” (though we think she deserves far more credit than that!), Mandy transformed her chairs with elegance, humour and a lot of heart. “Don’t look too closely,” she joked, “but I love them :)”…and honestly, so do we!

Mandy has also brought a little Chateau charm into her conservatory with our Potagerie wallpaper, bravely enduring what she described as a “menopausal nightmare heat” of 46.7°C in Gloucestershire - surely a Chateau-worthy tale if ever there was one!

As if that weren’t enough to make us smile, Mandy also shared a treasured photo from meeting us in Bournemouth (book proudly in hand, of course!) and told us she is already counting down to a Chateau stay next year to celebrate her “half a hundred” birthday.
