Black Truffle Festive Glazed Ham

The Strawbridge family are huge fans of truffles, even Arthur has become a bit of a connoisseur and they have even planted their own truffle trees at The Chateau!

The Black Truffle Festive Glazed Ham recipe will be a treat for any Christmas table.

What you'll need

• 1.5kg tied ham with rind
• 15g Truffle Hunter black truffle mustard
• 15g Truffle Hunter white truffle honey

Step 1.

Remove all packaging from your ham but leave the string on. Simmer your ham whilst keeping it submerged – follow the guideline times above.

Step 2.

Whilst the ham is simmering, prepare the glaze by mixing the mustard with the honey. Once the ham has simmered for the recommended time remove from the pan and leave all the steam to evaporate..

Step 3.

Once all the steam has evaporated, apply the glaze and cook in the oven on 170 Celsius for the 5 mins per 450g/1lb.

Step 4.

Remove from the oven and leave to rest for only 5 minutes. Slice and serve!
