When you live somewhere as extraordinary as the Chateau, it would be very easy to focus only on the grand staircases, wallpapers and chandeliers. But I'm just as fascinated by the smaller things – a handle, a piece of carving or, in this case, the decorative finial of a beautiful old bed.

I loved its shape and ornamentation and wanted to explore what would happen if that little detail became the starting point for a fabric.

Unlike the printed designs in the collection, Le Jacquard du Chateau is woven, giving it a gorgeous texture and depth.
