The Mademoiselle Daisy is a truly maximalist design featuring a stunning cobalt green and striking geometric daisies inspired by Art Nouveau. Many of The Chateau's homeware and accessories feature the print on luxurious soft velvet.
In series 6 of Escape to the Chateau, Dick and Angel revamp their very own adventure bus – a vintage Asquith Van. During its transformation, Angel joked about it feeling like "Driving Miss Daisy", a 30-year-old film loved by Dick and Angel, but, of course, the French version! Along with completely redesigning the inside of the bus, Angel designed the fabric and named it after the bus - Mademoiselle Daisy.
"Our first trip in the Asquith was around The Chateau's grounds. Where better to seek inspiration than the wild daisies that bloomed abundantly for the first time that year? Reimagined with Art Nouveau patterning, the daisy motif seamlessly blends the beauty of the great outdoors with rich colours to create a playful and contemporary design, while also evoking a sense of nostalgia for carefree times.” - Angel Strawbridge
