One of the joys of living in the Chateau is that you never quite know what you’re going to discover. Behind doors, beneath floorboards and up in the attics are little clues to the people who lived here before us.

The original inspiration for La Corde du Chateau was one of those discoveries - a beautiful old wallpaper with an elegant rope design. I adored it from the moment I saw it.

Rather than simply recreate it, I wanted to celebrate its history while giving it a fresh lease of life.

"La Cord du Chateau is a design that feels wonderfully at home in the Chateau, but equally lovely in a contemporary home. For me, that is what good design should do: tell a story from the past while becoming part of your story too."

La Corde du Chateau is available in three colourways: Walnut, Blue and Green.
