The Story

‚ÄúToile‚Äù is synonymous with French design. The classic toile featured romantic, pastoral scenes, but the ‚ÄúToile du Chateau‚Äù celebrates and plays with the original aesthetic. Staying true to the classic colourways, the design showcases life at The Chateau - from chopping logs, to the children playing in the grounds, and Angel‚Äôs love of flowers and trees, all lovingly combined in this playful, quirky design.

‚ÄúI love a classic toile but wanted to design something firmly rooted in the 21st-century that reflects our life and family here at The Chateau. It's a light-hearted and modern interpretation of a classic French design and may take you a while to see all the little details. Design is often in the detail!‚Äù

The Detail

Our Toile du Chateau fabric has been expertly made using 100% cotton, has a width of 140cm (55.1‚Äù) and the repeat pattern is 91.5cm (36‚Äù).

Please note that our fabric is sold in ¬Ω metre lengths and is non-returnable as once it‚Äôs been cut to size cannot be resold.
