Halloween Décor Ideas: Make a Halloween Bat Cave

Make a big impact this Halloween with this simple paper craft. Ideal for creating a spooky backdrop for a doorway or window to scare trick or treaters.

What you'll need:

• black plastic bats in various sizes OR homemade paper bats cut in various sizes
• Bluetak or sticky pads to fix each bat to the wall

Step 1.

Start by placing a few bats to the side of the door frame. Keep adding more according to the size of bat - place all of the large sized bats first then the next size down and so on.

Step 2.

Step 3.

Create a cluster effect and stick a few bats inside the door frame.

Step 4.

Add as many as you like - they can be escaping from a room like or they can be swarming through your window.
