How do you make elderflower Champagne?


If you would like to make your own elderflower Champagne, you will need…




2 pints compressed flowers

3 pounds white sugar

2 gallons of water

4tbsp of white wine vinegar

Juice and zest of 4 lemons




  1. Stir everything together and cover with a tea towel for 24-48 hours to ferment.
  2. Then strain your mixture and transfer to bottles for two weeks to let it fizz up!
  3. After two weeks were up, we tasted ours on a lovely warm day in the garden!
