Easter Craft Ideas: Easter Egg Gift Basket

Little ones will love this fabulous Easter gift basket full of their favourite treats and perhaps even a small toy to make them smile.

What You'll Need:
Easter Egg
• A pack of two decoupage Easter eggs from Amazon for £4.50 a pack
• Feathers
• PVA glue
• 0.5m ribbon of your choice
• Sweets and chocolate of your choice

Basket
• A wicker basket
• A pack of natural raffia to fill the base of the two baskets
• 30cm of ribbon or fabric to tie a bow on the basket
• Plant labels to personalise the basket
• A soft toy of choice (optional)

Step 1.

Start by gluing feathers onto the outside of the egg using PVA glue. Brush some more PVA glue over the feather to seal it.

Step 2.

Take a piece of cotton ribbon and glue it around the edge of the top half of the egg. To cover the joint of the cotton ribbon, tie a contrasting piece of ribbon (we used green velvet) to make a bow.

Step 3.

Glue the bow onto the ribbon to cover the joint.

Step 4.

Fill the egg with treats and place in the basket nestled on a bed of shredder hamper paper. You could add a soft toy and personalise the basket with the recipient’s name added to a garden herb label
