The Wallpaper Museum print captures the unique beauty of Chateau de la Motte Husson, making it one of the collection's most iconic designs. It features a wondrous and eclectic mix of colours and patterns.

In series one of Escape to the Chateau, Angel makes her first visit to the attic. In amongst the cobwebs, and with baby Dorothy on her hip, she opens the door to a 15-foot-tall armoire. To her amazement, inside is roll upon roll of the most beautiful wallpaper, original off-cuts from designs that once adorned the Chateau's walls.

With the help of Dick's meticulous calculations, each wallpaper was cut into a diamond shape and carefully pasted to the turret walls in the Honeymoon Suite. Elegant braiding was pinned along the edges to finish the look.

“The Wallpaper Museum is a celebration of The Chateau’s history. I wanted to share this amazing discovery, the joy of the colours and designs, and for this history to live on in people’s memories.”
- Angel Strawbridge
