Nature and the wildlife around us have always found their way into my designs. There is something rather wonderful about the beauty of a peacock – those extraordinary feathers, rich colours and wonderfully regal presence – and it is a motif I have loved using before.

L'Oiseau du Chateau builds on Emerald Fan, an original Chateau design I created for the Coach House, where my parents live. I loved the idea of returning to that inspiration and allowing it to evolve into something new.

This time, the peacock sits within a design inspired more broadly by the wildlife and natural beauty of the Chateau.
