Making summer chutney: part 2

After the huge job of prepping all our vegetables in last weeks video, we got to work cooking our chutney!

To make ours, we used 4 kilos of our tomato and vegetable mixture, a big bowl of raisins, 1.5 litres of vinegar, a whole bag of sugar and a bit of Panch Phoron.

Give it a big stir, bring to the boil and leave it to simmer for 40 minutes. When it’s ready, pour your hot chutney mix into hot sterilised jars and pop the lid on straight away!

Now just to wait a few months until we can taste our summer chutney…
