Part 1: Our Easter weekend and making nettle soup!

Our Easter weekend was quieter than usual this year. We managed to make the most of it and had a lovely weekend with the family. We filmed lots of home videos to document the whole weekend… so many that we’ve had to split the weekend in to two parts!

This week we’re sharing part one with you all. Dick taught us how to pull rhubarb in the walled garden and we had an Easter hunt for Arthur and Dorothy.

Then the boys got to work on getting back at those nasty nettles that stung Arthur in last weeks video and made a delicious nettle soup. To make your own nettle soup, you’ll need:

  • Leek

  • Garlic

  • Butter

  • Vegetable Stock

  • Lots of stinging nettles (be careful!)

  • Cream

Blitz it all up - and you’ll have yourself a lovely green soup.

Part 2 will be arriving next Thursday. We’ll be showing you how we made our rhubarb crumble, and the family will be tasting the nettle soup!
