We love sunflowers in the Strawbridge household so we thought it’d be lovely for the children to grow their own this year… well, 22 to be precise!

To make sure they would grow successfully, we had to get a bit creative with our planters and make do with what we had lying around.

We managed to plant successfully… however things didn’t quite go to plan later that evening…
