Easter Craft Ideas: Easter Place Settings

What You'll Need:
• empty egg boxes, 1 box per guest
• x1 small bag of dry moss
• feathers for decorating
• 1 Muscari bulb per guest
• real eggs (we used quail and duck eggs) which can then be cooked up for breakfast)
• garden twine
• Dymo label gun
• 2 empty eggshells per guest
• 2kg bag of soy candle wax flakes
• candle wicks
• a pot of boiling water half filled
• a metal jug for melting the wax into

Step 1.

Fill a 1/4 of a pan with water and place a bowl and jug on top. Fill the jug with the wax and melt it over the boiling water. Take an empty egg shell - making sure it is clean and dry – place a candle wick in the inside of the shell and pour the wax into the eggshell from the jug.

Step 2.

When the wax has cooled and is solid, trim the wick down to size - these are your homemade eggshell tealights! To make the individual name places, wrap an egg with a little twine and tie in a bow. Using the label maker, add a name to the surface of the egg.

Step 3.

Take an empty egg box and fill a couple of the egg holders with dried moss and place some shredded raffia over the top. Place a couple of the eggshell tea lights and a few quail eggs and feathers.

Step 4.

Add the potted Muscari bulb and the place name egg in the centre front holder. Each name setting sits at the head of your guests dinnerware as a fun and thoughtful keepsake!
