It’s easy to forget about sharpening them, even Dick forgets sometimes, but we would definitely recommend it for any keen cook or chef.


Our ultra-sharp Triplex steel blades won’t need sharpening very often and should require just a few minutes on the fine side of the whetstone to regain its keen edge. But if you have other knives made from softer steel the coarser grade will help to restore a very dull edge before sharpening it fully on the medium side of the block. The 3000/8000 Grit Stone will give you a seriously sharp knife with a polished finish.
